Vaughan Constructions was appointed to Design and Construct Murray Goulburn’s new international logistics centre based on Vaughan’s proven ability to deliver total land and building packages within a tight timeframe and at a highly competitive price.
More recently, Vaughan has carried out alterations on the site including a UHT Canopy, UHT Concrete apron, empty pallet canopy, a gatehouse and widening of gatehouse road.
The Murray Goulbourn centre is three times bigger than the MCG playing surface and capable of holding more than 750,000 cubic metres of stock.
The facility is of significant scale with a 47,178m2 warehouse, 19,039m2 chiller, 1063m2 office/ amenities and 2,948m2 of ancillary space. The building is surrounded by over 37,500m2 of interlock pavement, 5,700m2 bitumen and over 53,000m2 of reinforced concrete.
The Murray Goulburn centre and the alterations were completed 13 weeks ahead of schedule and were on budget.
