Scania Australia appointed Vaughan Constructions to complete their New South Wales headquarters for truck and bus servicing.
The facility incorporates a large workshop area suitable for B-Double servicing.
Amoungst many specialised features the building incorporates a large service put designed specifically for Scania’s requirements with a suspended middle gate, heavy duty epoxy floor, overhead cranes and also a truck wash area with environmental recycling provisions.
The development included 3,549m2 workshop, 1,771m2 amenities/ balcony, 890m2 warehousing and 994m2 administration area.
The facility is surrounded by over 9,000m2 of external pavings suitable for B-Double trucks.
Vaughan completed the Scania Facility in 44 weeks, which was ahead of the contract completion date.
