At Vaughan Constructions, our Apprentice Program is all about building future Site Managers from the ground up. Run alongside a carpentry trade qualification, the program gives apprentices hands-on experience on real job sites while developing the leadership and site management skills needed to progress their careers. Guided by our experienced Site Managers, apprentices learn everything from the fundamentals of site establishment through to project completion, setting them up for a long-term future in construction.
We’re proud to congratulate Darcy McConnon, who has officially completed his Carpentry Apprenticeship with Vaughan Constructions and is the 8th apprentice to qualify through our internal carpentry program. To recognise his dedication, hard work and growth, Darcy was recently presented with an Estwing hammer by Lorien Dalmau, Robert Marks, Steve Norman, Adrian Reek and Stephen Mountain. Since commencing his apprenticeship Darcy has worked across a wide range of projects, consistently earning the same feedback: eager to learn, nothing is too hard, always willing to help and a positive influence on everyone on site.
Well done, Darcy, we’re excited to see your career continue to grow with us.
