The Coca-Cola distribution centre at Eastern Creek, includes a 32,500m2 warehouse, office space for 75 people, including canteen with full commercial kitchen, car parking, large truck parking area, and extensive truck maneuvering and dock loading areas.
Vaughan Constructions was selected by Goodman International as the design and construct builder based on Vaughan’s understanding of client expectations, experience in successfully delivering projects on time, and the commitment to “environmentally friendly” design.
The Coca-Cola distribution centre is an iconic building in the industrial market due to its architectural design, quality of construction and being one of four projects in Australia to be named a “Green Star Industrial Pilot” project. The facility, once certified has a total weighted points equating to a 4 to 5 Green Star Rating.
The quality of this facility has been recognized through several awards including; Winner - Australian Institute of Building National Award for Professional Excellence - Commercial Category $10m to $50m and Winner - Urban Taskforce, Development Excellence Award for Industrial Development.
The facility was handed-over by Vaughans early this year on schedule. The quality of the finishes is excellent and the facility is likely to achieve a four-star Green Star rating from the GBCA.
