Vaughan Constructions signed on with Woolworths South Africa to design and construct a 21,000m2 warehouse for popular Australian clothing brand, Country Road.
The facility is located at the highly successful Wyndham Industrial Estate, Truganina and will improve both the efficiency and speed of delivering an increasing number of online and store sales.
The facility is designed to achieve a 5 star Green Star rating by the Green Building Council of Australia, with solar panels alone producing 300kw of energy each year. This is enough energy to supply the light and power usage of the office.
Wyndham Industrial Estate has become quite the fashionable industrial hotspot, with Country Road being the latest major clothing brand to join the ranks of Pacbrands and Forever New. With Stage 1 100% sold, the Estate will reach capacity well before earlier predictions.
