Vaughan Constructions is delighted to announce the completion of a new workshop for one of Australia’s largest providers of new and used forklift and access equipment, United Forklift and Access Solutions.
Having outgrown their previous home in Altona and failing to find a facility that met their needs, they decided to build a fit-for-purpose facility.
The new 5,700m² Sunshine West facility is inclusive of 5,000m² of workshop space, 700m² of office and specialised areas such as spray booth, washbay and parts sorter. There is also extensive concrete hardstand providing a display yard, work yard and carpark.
Future-proofed, the workshop has been designed and built with the capacity to expand further when required.
During the construction period, wet weather and COVID restrictions posed significant challenges however, Vaughan was able to complete the project in six months.
It was a pleasure partnering with United Forklift and Access Solutions on this project. Their knowledgeable, enthusiastic and committed team were heavily involved in the design planning, ensuring their new home would provide a superior service offering.
